As usual, I don’t have too much to report for the winter since I’m in a black hole for 2.5 months.  But before I got sucked in I realized a long-held fantasy to become a sailor by buying an old used 27′ sailboat!  I have years of practice ahead of me before I can start jaunting around the Mediterranean, but I have to start somewhere.  I have the captain’s cap, so that’s a good start.<\/p>\n

I also took Josef skiing every weekend in January and boy did he improve fast!  We met up with friends every time, which was a huge impetus to learning.  He took on his first black diamond by the end of the month.  I’m so excited about what next winter might hold for him!<\/p>\n

Although Jamie and I have been partners for three years, like all good accountants we frugally waited until we’d gone through all the old stationary and envelopes before changing out business name.  I do feel a great sense of pride having my name on the front door now!<\/p>\n
