Alas, when I switched servers this post was somehow deleted and lost to the ages. A shame, because I went on at great length, and with great wit and insight, about our wonderful first Christmas back in Corvallis. Sadly, I only have such literary reserves to pour out on rare occasions, thus you’ll have to make do with this sparse recap of Christmas:
It was great! Probably the best I can remember! I think having a little kid will do that. We had a magical and cozy Christmas Eve wandering the frigid neighborhood looking at lights, and singing a few carols by the fire. Josef got a wagon and a rocking horse and a play kitchen and many other delights. We had the whole family over in the morning. It was wonderful and satisfying in every way.
