Josef was part of the ensemble for the Majestic Theater youth performance of A Christmas Story.
We had everyone over on Christmas Eve for a prime rib feast, before hopping on a plane to Puerto Vallarta. On December 28th, we lit paper lanterns in Rachael’s memory and let them float off over the Pacific.
I briefly dabbled in cat ownership, fostering Stuart, a three-legged cat, while he healed up; 6 weeks was sufficient to validate my suspicions that I do not want to be a cat owner.
We took a ski trip to Willamette Pass, and also spent a few nights a cozy cabin in Waldport, playing games and paddling around the Alsea.
And of course, lots and lots of taxes!
