Josef and I went to the Oregon Country Fair together in July and had a fantastic time! He is always such a jolly and amicable companion on our special outings–always game for anything and good-spirited in all circumstances. He really enjoyed all the interesting sights and sounds. I was pleased and impressed with how kid-friendly the whole place was; I certainly don’t remember it being that way when I was 15! (But then again, why would I have even noticed back then..?) There were several good puppet shows we took in, and lots of live music to enjoy. We danced in the drum tower and ate a variety of treats and even made a few friends. Everyone seemed quite delighted with seeing little Josef wandering around, and I must have heard the joyful cry of “Naked Baby!” about 50 times.
It was a perfect adventure in every way, and we are looking forward to next year, when I bet he will enjoy it even more.
