Der Junge’s Zimmer

Here’s a peek at some of the interior of his room.  Truth be told, we don’t spend a whole lot of time in there, as he sleeps with us.  Mainly it’s just for changing him, and sometimes we’ll hang out on the bed in there.

I’m really happy that we were able to find some cool old furniture for him at an antique store.  Hopefully he’ll have the dresser and bookcase for many years down the road.

With so many artists in the family, we have lots of artwork on his walls.  Each of the grandmas gave us a painting, and his Aunt and Uncle Monroe also found a colorful painting of some prancing ponies.

We were blessed to receive many fine gifts for him.  There is a stack of all our loved ones’ favorite books, 5 or 6 home-made baby blankets, a bunch of stuffed animals, and even some wooden toys from Japan.  I can’t say Josef does much right now, but I enjoy looking at the shelves and thinking about all the times we’ll spend playing or reading.
