Aunt Sarah and Uncle JD hosted dinner at their house, and it was probably the best darn feast I’ve ever had on Thanksgiving. Everyone was in great spirits, and it could not have been more pleasant! After dinner we all took a walk through the neighboring pioneer cemetery to work up an appetite for dessert, which consisted of about 8 pies. I did my best to have a slice of each of them.
